New Relativity (NR)

New Relativity (NR) theory is derived directly from Maxwell's field equations and Lorentz's motional transform, both of which are shown to be medium based. NR is an extension of these two theories, predicting the same measured properties as Einstein's theories based on a medium, rejecting Einstein's ether-less predictions that have not been measured, but includes, for the first time, the solution of the motional wave equation for both electromagnetic sources and observers in motion. This general theory is achieved using three sets of time and space scales, one for the source, one for the observer and one for the stationary values in the propagation medium. This is in contrast to the one used in Einstein's relative motion, or the two used in the Lorentz's transform for an observer moving relative to the medium

NR shows that all waves and fields, including electromagnetic waves (light) and gravitational effects, require a medium to propagate their disturbances and make their wave equation causal (predictable). That all motional effects are with respect to the medium, distinguishing between classical propagation time asymmetry and Lorentz's time and space contraction, both based on motion relative to the medium. Also distinction is made between measured source and observer motional differences, none of which Einstein's ether-less relativity can do.

Gravity is considered as a difference electric field from dissimilar charges in atoms and molecules (dipoles). For a compact atomic model the atom is regarded as neutral (equal number of positive and negative charges. However for a finite distribution of positive and negative charges (dipoles ) the finite distribution will always generate a small but finite attractive field. The atomic weight (the gravitational attractiveness between atoms) is basically proportional to the atomic weight (number of electrons and protons in the atom (dipoles).

NR re-unites classical and modern physics both based on a propagation medium. NR is a causal theory, requiring events to occur in a predictable manner. So sorry folks, this precludes time travel as depicted in classic cartoons and popular folklore...
